Raised in the green and orange hills of Western Massachusetts’ pioneer Valley, Luke DeRoy’s favorite shows are those by firelight. intimately calling forth a compendium of crescendo, as a solo act his sweeping songwriting suggests influences of folk-rock and neo-soul. Unique in the depth of philosophy contained in the music, it is a “new kind of blues,” a call to the healing power of connection.
Luke has performed at venues ranging from Vans Warped Tour to NYCs Rockwood, Brattleboro’s Stone Church and the Drake in his hometown of Amherst.
Lately, we’ve been treated to Luke & Lucas playing as a duo called “Red Loves Blue”. They’re working on recording an album now. You can help support their project on Patreon.
