This mahogany brown beer is packed with rich dark malt flavors which are reminiscent of chocolate, fig and brown sugar. Additional depth comes from a dose of traditional Belgian Candi-sugar syrup which brings toffee aromas and contributes to the overall richness. Hops provide a gentle earthy base but you won’t really notice them. The yeast lends some fruity and white pepper notes and the high carbonation keeps this delicious beer from getting too cloyingly sweet.
