Aromas of chocolate and orange jump out of the glass but at it’s core, this is a dark Belgian-style beer with rich candy (toffee) notes and complex peppery yeast character. Tootsie-roll notes are first to hit the palate followed by layers of sweet and bitter orange peel. Chocalatey malts and dark brown sugar re-emerges on the finish as the beer coats your mouth in silky chocolatey goodness before the tingly carbonation and a slight tartness rinse the palate clean. We use a Belgian Yeast known to produce some orangey aromas alongside banana, clove and pepper notes. Which all combine beautifully in this delicious and spicy chocolate orange treat seem indulgent without being too sweet. ~ 6.2% ABV
