Fall '23 | Week 5 Recap

Irish I Was Italian has been dominating opponents this season; winning each match by more than 5 pts. They rest firmly atop the leaderboard, while the battle for second place rages on. Newcomers, Botched Jobs were undeafeated heading into Week 5, until they met the bocce-buzz-saw that is Closing Time. A revolving door of talent (and Will), Closing Time has shown they are still in the hunt. Their only losses were to the Juggernaut Irish I was Italian and reigning 2x Champs, Team Szabo

Team Szabo is off to a solid start currently tied with last season’s 3rd place team: Barsenic and Bold Grace.

After a solid performance last season, The Ball Busters had waivered thus far. This week they, finally get off the schneid with their first win! (Congrats!)

One housekeeping note, The Dirty Lowdowns, who were forced to forfeit an earlier match because of scheduling conflict are scheduled to makeup that game vs. Closing Time. In a show of good sportsmanship, Closing Time agreed to play out the match instead of to accept the forfeit.

~ From the LBC Newsdesk, I’m James Wright, and I approve this Recap. (Also, Sorry for the cheapshot Will)
