Inspired by other botanical preservation techniques, Sierra Nevada popularized the use of distilled hop oil in their “Hop Hunter” beer. Sierra Nevada used a proprietary process to capture the fresh hop scent very close to harvest.
Now that we are a few years removed from that innovation, us regular folks have access to distilled hop oils as well. This is our first experiment with Chinook derived hop oil!
