Limited Quantities: Short Pours Only, No Growlers
Brewing is an inefficient process. One “waste” product is called “late runnings” – this is the last of the sugary liquid we run off of the Mash which is pretty low in sugar. We took a few gallons of this, boiled it down into a somewhat syrupy consistency before blending it with a neutral pilsner base. We let it lager for a few months to see if we could create a unique flavor.
The result is a bold toffee & chocolate aroma with a gentle dark malt flavors and a nice clean, refreshing finish.
