Annyong! Trivia Super Stars: “Sloppy Steaks” won the chance to design a beer with James and THAT beer is THIS beer! In our discussion one idea stood above the rest, like a big yellow joint; banana beer! I suggested Maeby we could do a Hefeweizen and not put actual bananas in the beer. They were like, “I mean it’s one banana how much could it cost?” I explained it wasn’t an issue of cost but the principle of the thing. I’m a scholar. I enjoy scholarly pursuits.

Anyhow, banana is already a prominent flavor in traditional German Hefeweizen (from the yeast) so we decided to select a special yeast that produces even more banana character. If it comes out good, they may even promote to Mr. Manager (We just say Manager). So let’s just hope it doesn’t turn out to be a huge tiny mistake.

BONUS FUN FACT: Did you know in Germany it’s not uncommon to have Hefewiezen for breakfast? What have we always said is the most important thing? (of the things you eat) That’s right, Breakfast!
