Mezzanotte
This is not a stout. Czech Dark Lager celebrates the cocoa, toasty, dark fruit & toffee notes from dark malts but stops short of roasty / bold coffee notes. This version ended up a little higher ABV than planned (it was our first time making it and I felt bad watering it down, so I didn’t) so it is classified as a “Special” version of the style.
