Luppopils
Luppopils is an Italian-style dry-hopped pils brewed with a base of Italian-grown Eraclea barley creating a crisp, crackery foundation. We layer in lemony / floral noble hops to brighten the aroma and add a touch of grassy bitterness. We augment with a smidgen of specialty malts to enhance the body & balance the bitterness with a delicate honey note.
The practice of dry hopping Bohemian-style Pils is a practice popularized by Birrifico Italiano and later amplified by Firestone Walker and Oxbow stateside.
