Artist Spotlight
David Breguet

At the Luppoleto Gallery: June 2025
David Breguet would sum up his art as “vibrancy and tranquility meets prehistory.” He’s loved dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts since he was very little and feels these animals get a bad reputation as being “monsters” in modern day Hollywood. David likes to explore the natural side of these ancient animals - their tranquil side and their environments - and many modern day animals and environments inspire different pieces for him. He finds the “King of the Jurassic” piece his most satisfying so far. Inspired by a short scene from one of his favorite childhood shows, it was the first time he combined all his skills for smaller pieces of art into a full scene.
Art was a recreational hobby for most of David’s life as he learned drawing casually, but for the past few years he’s been learning professionally and has turned his hobby into a profession as a Graphic Designer. Today he utilizes his art as a member of the lead design team for a trading card game.
David is inspired daily by the beautiful & unique works of professional Paleoartists like Mark Witton and Raul Ramos, and has made great connections through his art & professional work - including many fellow paleontology enthusiasts and folks in the toy industry - who have helped further his artistic skill. He’s always looking forward to learning more and improving.
